Do spiders have thumbs?

Something tried to hitch a ride to work today. The camera on my phone doesn't do a very good job of taking close-up shots, so this is as good as it'll get. This bright (almost flourescent) green spider was clinging to the side mirror of my car as I was leaving for the office today.

Instead of leading him to a fate of launching off the car while driving along the freeway, I decided to give him a short ride on a leaf and deposited him in the gravel nearby so that he could go kill some aphids or something.

I'm positive that if he'd tried to climb aboard T's car, the shriek would've been heard for a 10 mile radius.
